Randy Baker and his team of industry professionals have a rich history as respected members of racing’s close-knit and fiercely loyal family. Randy’s first venture in the stock car racing school concept was with his father, racing legend Buck Baker. As Randy's brother Buddy Baker was dominating the top circuit, Randy was helping Buck develop the curricula for the Buck Baker Racing School in 1980. In 1996, Randy’s passion for racing entered a new, exciting chapter when he formed his own stock car racing school with the creation of SpeedTech Auto Racing Schools, Inc.

While Randy Baker was chief instructor at his father's school for over 17 years, he was also competing in Nextel Cup, NASCAR Busch Series, ARCA, and the SCCA. If that's not enough, Randy Baker also raced big-rigs. For five years RB managed the training for North Carolina State Highway Patrol's High Performance Driver Training Program, while assisting in the management of the training for the U.S. Army's Anti-Terrorism, Special Forces Unit.

Randy Baker is responsible for the advanced driver training of drivers such as Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Jeff and Ward Burton, Joe Nemechek, Danny Sullivan, and Lyn St. James.

Randy’s professional experience throughout more than two decades extends from Nextel Cup competitor and trainer, to mechanic and fabricator. Students get the energy and determination of decades of experience with an unwavering focus of safety when training with Randy. He’s made drivers successful in reaching professional racing status and in realizing amateur ambitions as adventurers seeking the intensity of a racing experience in a controlled environment.
