program named "The Qualifier." Atlanta, Charlotte and Richmond tracks offer a 8
solo lap program for $379. As usual, we have been able to sweeten the deal in Rockingham
for a 10 solo lap program at $349. Bristol is a 12 solo lap program for $379.

NC Congressman Hosts 5th Annual Race Event with SpeedTech

The event is being held Friday, June 13, at the Richmond International Speedway in

CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINARyan Thigpen, a former student of SpeedTech Auto Racing
Schools and driver of SpeedTech's Late Model Chevrolet, won the 2000 Rookie of the Year
title at Concord Motorsports Park. Earlier in the year, Thigpen won the 150-lap
Pepsi-ColaŽ Late Model Stock Car race at Concord Motorsports Park on July 15.
